Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services was established in 1974. It was known as the Imperial Medical Center. It set up the first Nursing care research center in the region. It is located near Milad Tower in Tehran. The school oversees medical institutions in the Iranian capital. The university professionals are responsible for the provision of health care to about 4 million civilians in Tehran. It has 33 collaborative international programs.
