University Introduction:

The Ross University School of Medicine Dominica is accredited by the National Committee on Foreign Medical Education, Barbados Medical Council, United States Department of Education, Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health professions, Society for Stimulation in HealthCare. The university is also approved by the General Medical Council of Great Britain, the World Health Organization, and the various states of the US like California, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. The university has also collaborated with the Charles Drew University of Medical Science, Dillard University, and Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University. 



The university offers courses like basic Science and Clinical science. Basic Science comprises Development and Microscopic, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Genetics, Neuroscience, Gross Anatomy, and Medical Physiology. Clinical Science comprises Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Pharmacology, Introduction of Clinical Medicine, and Behavioural Sciences. 


Campus Life

The university campus is located in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The campus provides various services and facilities to the students. It trains students academically and socially. Other than academics, students also get opportunities to participate in more than 40 organizations and clubs. The university has a separate association for women named as American Medical Women’s Association that promotes women in the field of medical and science professions. The university uses electronic books for the academic syllabus. 



The university has The Villages of Coverley that provides various housing facilities to the RUSM students. It is located at a short distance from the campus. Daily shuttle services are provided to the students on campus. Many international sports are an event in this village for students. Different markets like fresh grocery stores, banking services, medical clinics, and pharmacies, fitness centers are available at a short distance. Other than this, the campus also provides housing and amenities. Students are allowed to choose room and partner. Options for bedroom like 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms with private and attached washrooms are available. All these rooms are filled with basic facilities in modern infrastructure.
