Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (ATSMU) is a coeducation institution for medical education. The university is also recognized by international bodies such as the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, Medical Council of India, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), and World Health Organization. The university is affiliated with the International Ibn Sina Hospital and World Federation for Medical Education. From the establishment and till now university has graduated more than 35000 skilled medical professionals.
Faculty
The university has five faculties named Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pediatrics, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Public Health.
