University Introduction:

The rector of the International School of Medicine is Stalback M. Akhunbaev. The medium of instruction in the school is English. According to the National Rating 2019 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic, the university is a top university of Kyrgyzstan. The university is accredited and recognized by various institutions such as World Health Organization, World Federation for Medical Education, Asian Medical Schools Association, Foundation of the Advancement of Medical Education and Research and Association of Medical Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Faculty:

The departments include Public Health, Natural Sciences Disciplines, Pediatrics, Humanities, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Pathology, Infectious diseases, Introduction to Internal medicine and Family Medicine, and Internal medicine.

Campus Life:

The International School of Medicine has a canteen that caters to students’ food needs. The hostel also has a canteen that offers Indian and Pakistani traditional cuisine. The student organizations include the student network TUNDUK, student council and AMSA Kyrgyzstan. Dancing sessions and music classes are available. 

Accommodation:

The International School of Medicine has separate dormitory facilities for female students and male students. The canteen is close to the dormitory. The university has employed personnel to maintain cleanliness in the hostels. The hostels also have additional gates and wardens to increase security. They have toilets and bathrooms with regular hot and cold-water supply. Other amenities include laundry room, gym hall and rooms for individual training and reading. First year students are offered transportation to school and back to the hostel. 

Eligibility to study MBBS at International School of Medicine

In Kyrgyzstan, MBBS is popularly known as General Medicine. Therefore, students seeking to study General Medicine at International School of Medicine must qualify for admission. The qualifications for studying General Medicine in this Institution include:

1) The student must appear in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Medical assessment.

2) The aspirant must score up to 50% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

3) Applicant must be up to 17 years old as of December 31 of that academic year.

4) The student must submit a medical certificate and health insurance documents.

5) The student must have no criminal report.
