The university was established in 2002, and was known as Lincoln College. The institution upgraded to Lincoln University College in 2011. The university has been approved by the Malaysian qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education. The university got a 5-star ranking in 2017 by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. The founders and administrators of the university are academicians committed to achieving their potential in education and research.

University Introduction:

The university has two campuses in Petaling Jaya and a clinical campus in Kota Bharu. The university has 11 faculties. The vice chancellor is Dr. Amiya Bhaumik. The university is located in Petaling Jaya, close to the capital city. Applicants should send applications 6 months prior to admission.


The faculties are Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Drama Studies, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Business and Accounting, Faculty of Hospitality, Faculty of Computer Science and Multi Media, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Social science Arts and Humanities. It also has the center for foundation studies and English Language Center.

Campus Life:

The university has collaborations with many international colleges and universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Finland, Nepal and Somalia. Available recreation facilities in the hostels include swimming pool, badminton, tennis court, and a gymnasium. 


The university provides comfortable living spaces for students with an apartment style accommodation. The rooms are subject to availability and are offered on a first come first serve basis. The rooms are a walking distance from the university. There are transportation facilities such as buses and trains close to the hostel. The rooms are fully furnished with furniture and other basic amenities. The university does not provide pillows and linens. Students are expected to adhere to hostel rules.
