Qingdao University has a group of reputed scholars known worldwide, of which 900 are professors. There are 23 academicians who are members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The faculty also includes 1 member of the Chinese Academy of Science, 2 members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 7 external academicians, 281 senior professors, 868 associate professors, and more than 150 doctors. Internship

The affiliated hospital of Qingdao University can hold 300 students simultaneously for clinical internship and assessment. Students acquire clinical practice and get familiarized with medical procedures, which further improve their medical knowledge and experience. The hospital has the necessary facilities for the clinical practice of international students and effectively eases the students’ pressure to integrate into local hospitals for doing the internship.

International Cooperation:

Qingdao University has established academic partnerships and exchange programs with 130 universities and colleges in 20 countries and regions, including the USA, Britain, Germany, Japan, Korea, Russia, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Singapore, and, Israel. 40 foreign universities have signed bilateral exchange agreements with the university and every year, the university employs over 50 qualified native foreign language teachers with long-term work contracts and over 100 visiting professors on a short-term basis. At the same time, around 100 Chinese teachers and students from Qingdao University study these universities.

Campus and Accommodation:

Qingdao University has a dormitory facility for international students, where single and twin rooms are available. Every room includes central heating facilities, a telephone set, a private bathroom, and air-conditioners. E-mail terminals, public kitchens, and washing machines are also accessible to students in the dormitory. Every campus of the university has a clinic, where international students can get medical services at a low cost.

Qingdao University has several sports and recreational places along with diversified student clubs for extracurricular activities. All kinds of daily necessities are provided in off-campus supermarkets at a low price. Post offices and banks are all near the main gate of each campus. Bus routes connect all campuses with downtown, scenic spots, and the train station.
