The Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) is a coeducation institution for higher studies. The university is accredited by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Poland. The university is a renowned member of, Medical Council of India (MCI), Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Medical Board of California (MBC), National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA), Medical Council of Thailand (TMC) and The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research.
The university has four faculties named as faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Science, Faculty of Biotechnology. Currently, the university has more than 6000 students studying in numerous departments.
The university has a main hospital that is an invasive medicine center and it is one of the modern hospitals across the globe. The university also has a MUG – Non-Invasive Medicine Centre (NIMC). It’s the newest research center of the university. Here students can learn about advanced medical technology and practice medicine. In addition to this, the university has various laboratories such as Oncologic Gynecology and Endocrinology, Neonatology, Obstetrics, transplantation, and Internal Diseases and Nephrology.
The university has four dormitories and can accommodate 1000 students at once. The dormitories are situated near the main campus of the university. All the rooms have facilities such as Disabled-friendly rooms, Table, chairs, bookshelves, mirrors, lamps, washbasin, bedside table, etc. The dormitories have internet access, parking, an automatic washing machine, Sanitary block with a kitchen and laundry room.
