University Introduction:
The administration consists of the board of trustees, the university council, the chancellor, and 8 vice chancellors. The 8 chancellors head international, academic and education, research, foods and drugs, health, treatment, logistics, and student affairs. The university educates about 12,500 students in medicine and allied medical sciences. It has 4 research institutes, and 62 research centers.
Faculty:
It has 1300 academic staff. The various schools include School of medicine, School of dentistry, school of rehabilitation, school of public health, school of paramedical sciences, school of traditional medicine, school of medical education sciences, school of health safety and environment, school of nursing and midwifery, school of pharmacy, and school of nutrition sciences and food technology.
Campus Life:
The university has a central library. All the students are automatically insured the moment they become members of the university. Also, the university provides camping trips in different forms. This includes religious, cultural, and recreational in one-day or a number of days forms. Tehran hosts many historic mosques, museums, places and shopping centers.
Accommodation:
There are two dormitories for foreign students. It holds a capacity of 56 boys and 60 girls. It also has more than 16 studios for married couples.
