The corporation is recognized by international bodies such as the General Medical Council, World Health Organization, United States Department of Education, Medical Council of India, National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA), Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education Research (FAIMER) and World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).


The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) offers more than 20 certifications to the medical scholars such as Sports Medicine, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, General Pediatrics, Critical Care Medicine, Adolescent Medicine, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Child Abuse Pediatrics, Pediatric Transplant Hepatology, Hospice and Palliative Medicine and many more.

In this certification, the medical professionals are analyzed based on their specialty of medical science towards emotional, physical, health of the children from their birth to their deaths. The certification encompasses Pediatric care, health services such as treatment of acute and chronic diseases, directing child abuse, consulting with community agencies, problematic behaviors in children, psychological issues, biological and radiological agents in children body, evaluating the structural and functional assessment of the children.


The board does not offer a lodging facility. Candidates can opt for private hostels and flats. The rooms are available on a sharing basis and the housing contract should be signed by the candidate. As per the rules, the rent payment should be submitted at the starting of the month. The rooms have numerous amenities such as a pillow, blanket, power, water, internet connection, and kitchen area.
