The Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University is situated in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It was established in 1992 in agreement with the Warsaw Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance which is between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. Boris Yeltsin, Russia’s former president, inspired its name. It was a sign of respect because he was instrumental in the establishment of the university. 

In this university, the MBBS program lasts six years, including an internship. The university is a coeducational medical school. The University has several schools and colleges, each with a different department, such as Project Management and Finance.
